Borussia Dortmund coach Edin Terzic has revealed that Mats Hummels and Marco Reus are both doubtful for Saturday’s Bundesliga clash with FC Köln.
Hummels missed last week’s 3-0 win over Darmstadt with an infection that he hasn’t fully recovered from.
“Mats was hit really hard last week. He was able to do some light training on the pitch yesterday. We’ll have to see how it goes in the next few days and hours,” BVB coach Edin Terzic told reporters at Thursday’s pre-match press conference.
Marco Reus, meanwhile, was absent from Wednesday’s training session due to illness.
“Unfortunately, Marco Reus caught a cold yesterday,” Terzic explained.
“We will make a decision on how much he will be able to train with the team today.”
