Hertha BSC have announced the shocking news that Kay Bernstein has passed away.

Hertha BSC are mourning the loss of club president Kay Bernstein, who has died at the age of 43.
The 2. Bundesliga club received the news of Bernstein’s sudden death on Tuesday.
“The whole club, its governing bodies and staff members are shocked and deeply saddened by the news,” Hertha stated on social media channel X.
“The whole Hertha family is mourning the passing of Kay and are thinking of his family and friends. We would ask everyone to respect his family’s privacy during this difficult time.”
Bernstein was appointed Hertha president in the summer of 2022.
