Bild reports that Ian Maatsen, who’s on loan at Borussia Dortmund, has a release clause of €35 million in his contract with Chelsea.

On Friday, Borussia Dortmund completed the signing of Ian Maatsen on loan from Chelsea until the end of the season.
While Dortmund didn’t negotiate a purchase option for the 21-year-old left-back, he is apparently still available for a fixed fee in the summer.
That’s according to Bild, who claims that Maatsen has a release clause of around €35 million in his contract with Chelsea, which was recently extended until 2026.
This means that if Dortmund were to sign him permanently, he would join Ousmane Dembele as their most expensive signing of all time.
