Juventus have now sealed a move for Lille defender Tiago Djalo, successfully beating Inter in the chase.
For a while, it seemed as if Inter were going to sign Djalo on a free transfer in the summer but Juve acted quickly and decided to sign him this month to bolster their backline. They have now sealed the move for the Portuguese, as reported by Sky Italia.
More details about the deal have been reported by Sky, with Djalo expected to arrive in Turin soon before undergoing a medical with the Bianconeri. He could undergo a medical on Tuesday or on Wednesday next week, but he will arrive in the city later today.
Juventus’ agreement with Lille will see the French side earn €3.5 million plus bonuses that go could upto a maximum of another €3.5 million. Lille will have a 10 percent resale clause in the deal, with Djalo to sign a four-year deal soon enough.
