Joselu pokes fun at Atlético fans after Real Madrid’s derby victory

Real Madrid star Joselu has taken to social media this afternoon, to poke fun at fans of city rivals Atlético.

The latest edition of the Madrid Derby, of course, played out on Wednesday night, in the semi-finals of the Supercopa de España.

When all was said and done, it was Real who emerged on the right side of the result, owing to a remarkable 5-3 extra-time triumph.

Carlo Ancelotti’s troops, in turn, have set up a Super Cup final showdown with one of Osasuna, or Clásico rivals Barcelona.

Amongst those on the scoresheet in Riyadh last night, meanwhile, was the aforementioned Joselu.

Introduced off the bench late in proceedings, the summer arrival in Spain’s capital got on the end of a delicious Dani Carvajal delivery from the right, to nod beyond Jan Oblak (with the help of a heavy Stefan Savić deflection).

And Joselu, it would appear, is still riding high on the emotions of his latest crucial strike.

Taking to his official X account this afternoon, the veteran frontman stumbled upon a post poking fun at Atlético, amid the insinuation that the Rojiblancos faithful view their side’s derby defeat as a moral victory, owing to the fact that Jude Bellingham failed to add to his remarkable goalscoring tally for the season.
