Mario Gomez has confirmed that Timo Werner’s move to Tottenham is nearing completion and says the transfer is a “win-win situation for everyone”.

RB Leipzig technical director Mario Gomez has confirmed reports that Timo Werner is about to join Tottenham on loan for the rest of the season.
“It’s a win-win situation for everyone,” Gomez told Sport1 when asked about the 27-year-old’s move to England, which is expected to be officially announced soon.
“Germany benefits. We benefit because we get a player in action. He will play regularly, that’s what Tottenham have told us”.
According to reports, the loan move will include a purchase option of €15-20 million.
