Real Madrid star Arda Güler has this evening issued something of a warning to the as of yet undetermined club lying in wait for Los Blancos in the finale of the Supercopa de España.
Real, of course, are fresh off booking their spot in the latest Spanish Super Cup showpiece.
This comes after Carlo Ancelotti’s troops battled their way to a remarkable 5-3 downing of city rivals Atlético, in the competition’s final-4.
The 2nd of the two semi-finals, meanwhile, is primed to play out on Thursday night, when Barcelona and Osasuna go head-to-head in Riyadh.
Speaking to Tivibu Spor on the back of his side’s derby triumph, the aforementioned Arda Güler was in turn questioned on which of these two sides he would rather face off with on Sunday.
The young Turk, who was introduced off the bench late in the action this evening, though, appeared unmoved by the question, adamant that it simply ‘doesn’t matter’ who Real take on:
“Barça or Osasuna for the Super Cup final?
“This is Real Madrid, whoever is the opponent, it does not matter. We play to win.”
