Sky Germany reports that Borussia Mönchengladbach midfielder Florian Neuhaus wants to leave Borussia Mönchengladbach in the winter due to his lack of playtime.
The 26-year-old is unhappy with his situation at the club as he is fit but is receiving a lack of playtime at the club. Neuhaus’ situation has not been helped by the rise of Rocco Reitz in Gladbach’s midfield as well as the fact that when he has played Neuhaus has been unwhelming recently.
A move away from Germany looks likely with both Lazio and Sevilla interested in the midfielder and Gladbach are ready to let him leave. Talks over a potential loan with an option to buy have already begun with interest parties. Neuhaus only signed a contract extension in the summer until 2027 which is why a loan move makes sense.
The former German international was once of Gladbach’s sort after prospects three years ago but a host of injuries as well as poor form in the team overall has seen his stock drop massively.
