As reported by Fabrizio Romano, Jadon Sancho has been given the green light to travel to undergo his Borussia Dortmund medical ahead of completing his six-month loan move from Manchester United.
Both Borussia Dortmund and Manchester United made a breakthrough in negotiations after the transfer appeared to hit a roadblock last week. Reports suggested that Sancho would be expected in Marbella at Dortmund’s training camp on Friday but at that point, negotiations stalled.
But now an agreement has been reached between Borussia Dortmund and Manchester United for a six-month loan, which does not include a purchase option. BVB will also cover a percentage of Sancho’s salary, with the total package amounting to a reported €4m.
Should Sancho be able to re-find his Dortmund form, it’s a deal that benefits all parties. As previously stated by Man Utd head coach Erik ten Hag, Sancho will not play a role at the club for as long as he is in charge at Old Trafford. This season, Sancho featured in the opening three Premier League games for the Red Devils before being ostracised from the side.
