Mandanda arrived at the Roazhon Park in 2022 as a free agent when his contract with Marseille ran out. The 2018 World Cup winner with France played 67 games with Les Rouge et Noir. “I’m trying to make the most of every moment and not overthink about the future“, Mandanda said. “All my family is very settled here. We all feel at ease in this city. The conditions are met for me to continue.“
According to Stade Rennais CEO Olivier Cloarec, Mandanda is a role model for his work ethic and ever-positive mind. “It was a logical and natural decision. It’s a joy to be able to rely on a player of his stature.” Mandanda is set to start for Rennes this Saturday evening against Nice for Ligue 1’s gameweek 18.
