Turkish SüperLig side Fenerbahçe have expressed their interest in signing Union Berlin defender Leonardo Bonucci, according to Fabrizio Romano.
The Italian defender has been linked with a move away several times this month, with Fenerbahçe emerging as the latest club to show an interest.
Talks had taken place yesterday after a move to AS Roma fell through last week and a decision looks likely to be made on his future by the beginning of next week.
Bonucci had only joined Union Berlin last summer, but he is currently enduring a difficult time in Germany with his side currently siting 15th in the league table. He has also only played seven league matches this season.
A move back to Italy may be more likely for the 36-year-old as he publicly spoke out about his homesickness last month.
Bonucci is looking for more regular game time as he has his sights set on playing with the Italian national team at Euro 2024.
