Juventus defender Dean Huijsen is set to join Roma on a loan deal in the January transfer window.
Huijsen was heavily linked with a move to Frosinone, who had an agreement in hand with Juventus. But Roma entered the race late.
Alfredo Pedulla has multiple other outlets have now reported that Huijsen is set to join Roma. Initially, Juve weren’t keen on letting the youngster join the Giallorossi and wanted to honour the agreement they had in place with Frosinone, but the talks have unblocked very recently.
The move is a dry loan deal, which is exactly the sort of deal that was agreed with Frosinone. The key part of the deal is that Roma will pay more more money than Frosinone as part of the loan deal, with the Dutchman costing €700k to the Roman side, with Juve also set to receive a young player in the form of Luigi Cherubini as part of the deal.
