Serie A league leaders Inter have now all but sealed a summer move for Napoli midfielder Piotr Zielinski.
The Polish midfielder’s contract at Napoli runs out in the summer of 2024 and he has yet to renew with the Partenopei, amidst links with the Nerazzurri.
Corriere dello Sport (via FCInter1908) now state that Inter’s move for the ex-Empoli man has been all but sealed and he will be an Inter player in the summer and will arrive on a free transfer. A basic agreement has already been reached between the two parties, as talks over a renewal with Napoli went downhill when it reached a crucial phase. There were differences between Napoli and Zielinski’s agent.
Inter have beaten RB Leipzig, Juventus, West Ham and some other English clubs in the race and unless a sensational turnaround happens, Zielinski will be an Inter player in the summer.
Inter are also close to sealing a move for Porto striker Mehdi Taremi, who could be another free signing.
