Eintracht have cooled to the idea of acquiring Durosimni due to both the chance to procure Kalajdzic and injury concerns over the Nigerian. In other Frankfurt-related transfer news, Lucas Alario’s transfer abroad is nearly finalized.
The latest on those rumors – per Kicker – hold that Eintracht and Wolves are working on building a reasonable purchase option into the deal. It might be the case that the Austrian center-forward can only be made available to the RheinMain Adler without an option to buy. Kicker’s Thiemo Müller writes that Eintracht seek quick clarification one the matter, wishing to proceed with a different plan if a deal cannot be negotiated quickly.
Müller further notes that Durosimmi is not considered a viable “Plan B” by Eintracht management at this time. That deal appears to be off the table for now. Eintracht will have to contend with the loss of leading goal-scorer Omar Marmoush this month. The Egyptian international will be on international duty at the Africa Cup of Nations. A deal to sell off Argentine striker Lucas Alarrio – rumored for some weeks – is nearly done according to Müller.
