Manchester United are the latest club to show an interest in Bayern Munich midfielder Joshua Kimmich, according to Focus.
The Red Devils join a growing list already including Liverpool and FC Barcelona, all of whom have already been linked with the Germany international.
There has been a lot of talk around United in recent weeks. With billionaire Sir Jim Ratcliffe taking over shares in the club, United will likely be able to spend more than previously imagined.
United have already loaned out Donny Van de Beek to Eintracht Frankfurt this winter and Brazilian Casemiro is currently injured whilst attracting interest from sides in Saudi Arabia.
Though a transfer for Kimmich is highly unlikely this winter, a future transfer is not out of the question.
As reported by GGFN earlier this month, What has become increasingly clear at Bayern in recent weeks is that Kimmich and long-term midfield partner Goretzka can no longer co-exist. The profile of the two players are becoming more similar and this is becoming an issue for Bayern, as seen in their 5-1 loss to Eintracht Frankfurt.
With a contract until 2025, Kimmich and Bayern may just be thinking about potential departures next summer.
