Eintracht Frankfurt are set to complete the signing of striker Rafiu Durosinmi from Viktoria Plzen in the coming days with his medical expected tomorrow (Thursday 28th) according to Bild.
The fee for Durosinmi is expected to be around €9m and he will sign a contract at the club until 2028 but this is not expected to be the last of Frankfurt’s winter business as they are likely to sign another striker as well as see the arrival of Donny van den Beek on loan from Manchester United.
Durosinmi is currently injured but the injury is not as serious as first thought. However, it is unclear if he will be able to take part in Frankfurt’s first training session of the year on January 2nd reports Sport1.
The 20-year-old as well as the additional striker will provide an alternative striking option to Omar Marmoush and will likely be thrown in the deep end straight away as Marmoush is likely to be called up to the Egyptian national team for the Africa Cup of Nations in the new year.
