It’s no secret that Bayern Munich are looking to strengthen at the back, with the Bavarians said to be looking at a number of centre-backs in Europe.

According to Bild, Bayer Leverkusen’s Jonathan Tah has been added to the list of targets.

However, a winter move is highly unlikely, as Tah has been a regular starter for Leverkusen, who top the Bundesliga ahead of Bayern.

A move at the end of the season seems more plausible, as Tah’s contract includes an €18 million release clause for the summer, according to the report.

However, it is unclear whether Tah would be interested in joining Bayern.

The defender has previously admitted that he dreams of playing in the Premier League, where Liverpool, Tottenham, Newcastle United, Manchester United and West Ham United are reported to be among his suitors.
