An update on the ongoing efforts of the transfer team at Juventus to reinforce the club’s midfield ranks has been provided on Wednesday evening, with Teun Koopmeiners said to be a target.
It is of course common knowledge that Juve are on the lookout for fresh blood in the middle of the park with a view to the 2nd half of the campaign. This comes with both Paul Pogba and Nicolò Fagioli unavailable for selection owing to respective long-term bans.
A whole host of midfielders from across the continent, in turn, have been tipped as potential arrivals in Turin.
And, tonight, an update on the plans of Cristiano Giuntoli and co. to land one such target has been forthcoming online.
The info comes courtesy of Marco Conterio of TuttomercatoWeb, who has confirmed that Juve are readying a fresh push for Atalanta standout Teun Koopmeiners.
Not only that, but it is claimed that the Old Lady are willing to sacrifice two up-and-coming talents – namely Matias Soulé and Samuel Iling-Junior, to raise the necessary funds for a deal.
With Atalanta desperate to hold onto their Dutch international star, though, the Juventus brass could face a tough task in convincing a direct Serie A rival to alter their stance.
