Attacking midfielder Lazar Samardžić has shown discontent to stay at his current club and is set for a move elsewhere next month.
According to a report by Daniele Longo, the relationship between Lazar Samardžić and Udinese manager Gabriele Cioffi is totally broken. The discontent between them was further aggravated when the Italian manager took a dig at the player during the Milan-Udinese post-match press conference as he said: “I don’t care if he stays or not”.
The 21-year-old is now adamant about leaving the Udine-based side as soon as during the January transfer window. The midfielder is very popular amongst the Napoli management after displaying a series of convincing performances. The Partenopei is expected to replace Piotr Zielinski with Samardžić next season.
Apart from the Neapolitans, Juventus are enduring a shortage of midfielders and therefore, might consider signing the Serbian. Sporting director Cristiano Giuntoli is an admirer of the player and it is set to be a potential transfer battle between the Bianconeri and Napoli next month. If not next month, it could take place.
