Schalke 04 are reportedly set to sign Maya Yoshida on a free transfer.

Schalke 04 are reportedly closing in on the signing of former Southampton centre-back Maya Yoshida.
According to Fabrizio Romano and Sky Germany, Yoshida is set to fly to Germany tomorrow to go through a medical ahead of the transfer.
The 33-year-old centre-back is available on a free transfer after his contract with Sampdoria expired at the end of June.
He has 154 Premier League matches and 72 Serie A games under his belt.
