Arsenal goalkeeper Aaron Ramsdale is considering a move away from Emirates Stadium after losing his place to David Raya, according to the Evening Standard.
The England international has found playing time hard to come by since the Spain international joined the Gunners on a season-long loan from Brentford in the summer.
Arsenal have already decided to make the move permanent after manager Mikel Arteta made it clear that Raya is his first-choice goalie.
The 28-year-old has made several mistakes since joining the North London club, with three of them leading to goals.
However, Arteta has stuck with him in goal, with Ramsdale making nine appearances so far across all competitions as a result.
The 25-year-old joined Arsenal from Sheffield United in a £30 million deal in the summer of 2021, immediately establishing himself as the number 1 ahead of Bernd Leno, who has since moved to Fulham.
He has been linked with Chelsea and Newcastle United ahead of the January transfer window, with recent injuries to the first-choice goalies at both clubs expected to force them into the market.
However, they are yet to make any concrete move for Ramsdale, and it remains to be seen whether Arsenal will be open to letting him leave midway through the campaign and strengthening their rivals.
Raya could pick up an injury, and Arteta knows having Ramsdale available as cover would go a long way in case such happens.
