VfL Wolfsburg have already announced that first-choice goalkeeper Koen Casteels will leave the club at the end of the season, with FC Copenhagen’s Kamil Grabara joining as his replacement.
With Wolfsburg having a clause to bring Grabara to Germany in January, there have been reports that Casteels could be on his way as early as next month, but Niko Kovac does not expect that to happen.
“Koen will stay until the summer,” the Wolfsburg coach told the Wolfsburger Allgemeine Zeitung.
“That is the status quo. Nothing will change. As far as I know, Koen will no longer be at VfL as of July 1”.
