Liverpool are amongst a number of Premier League clubs interested in TSG Hoffenheim forward Maximilian Beier, according to Florian Plettenberg.
The Germany U21 international has scored six goals and four assists in the Bundesliga this season and is likely to be involved in the Germany senior side in the build-up to Euro 2024. Though being involved at next summer’s championships remains unlikely, it’s certainly the striker’s top goal.
One for the future, a number of Premier League clubs have inquired about Beier and are informed about his contractual details. One of the clubs that have shown particular interest is Liverpool. With many links to German football, it’s no wonder that the Reds have the 21-year-old on their radar.
Beier has a release clause of €30m and is likely to leave next summer due to the amount of interest.
Hoffenheim are currently going strong in the Bundesliga and sit in 6th position.
