Former Milan, Inter, Manchester United and Barcelona striker Zlatan Ibrahimovic has a new role and he is now the Rossoneri’s new consultant.
This will be Ibra’s third stint at Milan. His second one ended at the conclusion of last season, as he retired as a player in what was an emotional farewell. He won the Scudetto with the club, having returned to the club after eight years in the year 2020.
And Milan have now announced that Ibra has joined them as a consultant, who will work closely with the club’s majority shareholder Gerry Cardinale. Employed by RedBird, Ibra will also work with Cardinale’s company to grow the business and grow their presence in the media and entertainment department.
His appointment comes a day before Milan’s vital Champions League tie against Newcastle United and the Rossoneri will have to win that to have any chance of going through to the knockouts.
