Inter remain keen on signing Lille defender Tiago Djalo and they will hold talks for a move next month.
La Gazzetta dello Sport have reported about Inter’s interest in Djalo, stating that they aren’t the only club interested. Atletico Madrid and Juventus are also keen, but the Nerazzurri are currently said to be leading the race for the Portuguese defender.
Inter were keen on Djalo even last January when Milan Skriniar seemed to be on the verge of leaving, but the move didn’t go through. Even after his ACL injury, Inter seem keen on the player and Djalo is grateful for that and he remains keen on the move and would be interested in joining as quickly as January.
Juve and Atleti are also interested in a potential January move, with Lille looking at a fee of around €5 million to let him leave next month because his contract runs out in the summer of 2024. Lille already know that the 23-year-old wants to leave and they are also very interested in letting him leave, hoping that find buyers.
Inter will have a meeting with the French side before the New Year to discuss a potential transfer fee for January. Personal terms are not expected to be an issue.
