A dramatic penalty shootout victory saw Germany beat Argentina in the semi-finals of the FIFA U-17 World Cup to book their place in the final.
Germany reached the final of the FIFA U-17 World Cup in Indonesia on Tuesday with a penalty shootout victory over Argentina.
In a dramatic affair, Germany broke the deadlock through Paris Brunner nine minutes into the game, but Argentina came from behind to lead 2-1 at the break thanks to a double from Agustin Ruberto.
Germany bounced back to take the lead after the break, with Brunner scoring his second before Max Moerstedt made it 3-2.
It looked as if the Germans would hold on for the win until the final whistle, but then Ruberto struck deep into stoppage time to complete his hat-trick and send the game to penalties.
Germany eventually won the shootout 4-2 after Brunner stepped up to score the decisive penalty.
France and Mali will meet in the other semi-final later on Tuesday, with the final taking place on Saturday.
