Deiver Machado (30) has been ruled out of RC Lens’ fixture against Clermont Foot with an adductor injury, whilst Massadio Haïdara (30) is also a doubt after returning from international duty with an illness.
Machado suffered an adductor injury during Colombia’s match against Brazil and will therefore miss the trip to Clermont, however, Franck Haise has not specified the period of the defender’s absence. Haïdara could play a part in the fixture, however, he is a doubt after contracting an illness during the international break.
In better news for Lens, Nampalys Mendy is set to return. The former Leicester City midfielder missed the victory over Olympique de Marseille just before the international break with a thigh injury, but having returned to first-team training on Tuesday, he is in line to start alongside Andy Diouf, who is yet to replicate last season’s form since his summer move from FC Basel.
