Bayer Leverkusen coach Xabi Alonso has no fresh injury concerns for his team’s away clash with Werder Bremen.

Die Werkself had a lot of players in action during the international break and are pleased to have all of them available for the weekend.

“All players have returned healthy, which is good news,” Xabi Alonso told reporters at his pre-match press conference.

Jeremie Frimpong, who withdrew from the Netherlands squad with a hip problem, and Edmond Tapsoba, who returned to action for Burkina Faso after hand surgery, are also fit.

“Both are in perfect condition for tomorrow,” insisted the Spaniard, who is likely to field his strongest side as Leverkusen look to defend their top spot.

“It’s an important game. The Bundesliga is very important for us,” said Xabi Alonso.
