Eintracht Frankfurt are continuing their pursuit of a striker to replace Randal Kolo Muani and it seems that Union Berlin’s Sheraldo Becker is the next name on their list, according to Bild.
Becker’s contract expires in the summer but Frankfurt are willing to make a move in the summer due to how cheap a potential signing could be because of his expiring contract. The main reason behind their interest in the striker is that he will add much-needed speed to their attack.
The 28-year-old will not be the only striker brought in, in the winter as Frankfurt will also aim to sign another striker, with it being suggested that Rafiu Durosinmi could potentially join the club.
Becker was close to moving in the summer after helping Union qualify for the Champions League, but this season just like his team, he has failed to recapture the form from last season as he has yet to score in the league so far.
