According to Sport1, Alphonso Davies is open to leaving Bayern for Real Madrid.
Sport1 reports that Alphonso Davies would currently prefer to join Real Madrid rather than extend his contract with Bayern Munich.
Earlier this year, Bayern came close to extending his contract beyond 2025, but Davies put the talks on hold after the Bavarians sacked club bosses Hasan Salihamidzic and Oliver Kahn.
Davies is still stalling on a new contract and is now reportedly leaning towards Real Madrid, with Sport1 reporting that the Spanish giants have a concrete interest in him.
Davies’ agent, Nedal Huoseh, has publicly flirted with a move to Real Madrid on several occasions.
He told 365 Scores a month ago:
“I am sure that Real Madrid are one of the clubs that would like to sign Davies, along with several English Premier League clubs. They all want to have one of the best left-backs in the world.
Bayern paid €14 million to sign Davies from Vancouver Whitecaps in January 2019. The 23-year-old has made 170 appearances for the German champions, scoring eight goals and providing 28 assists.
