Edmond Tapsoba will miss Bayer Leverkusen’s next two games, as he needs hand surgery.

Bayer Leverkusen will be without Edmond Tapsoba in the coming weeks.

Die Werkself confirmed on Thursday morning that the centre-back faces a spell on the sidelines as he will undergo surgery on the hand injury he sustained in last week’s 5-2 DFB-Pokal win over Sandhausen.

As a result, Tapsoba will miss the upcoming matches against Qarabag and Union Berlin, and should be back after the international break for the match against Werder Bremen on November 25.

Tapsoba, 24, has played in every game for Leverkusen so far this season.

The Burkina Faso international spoke to Bulinews.com earlier this year. You can read the interview here.
