Turkish national team head coach Vincenzo Montella has provided an insight into his recent visit to Real Madrid’s training ground.
Italian tactician Montella was spotted at Valdebebas earlier this week. A series of photos came to the fore online, showcasing the former AS Roma star alongside Carlo Ancelotti, and Arda Güler.
The latter is of course the latest great hope of Turkish football, having already notched a quartet of senior caps despite being just 18 years of age.
Speaking to the media this morning, Montella was therefore questioned on the reasoning behind his trip to Madrid, and discussions with Güler.
And the Turkey boss went on to explain to Sky Sport, via Fabrizio Romano, that: “I decided to visit Arda Güler in Madrid as I’m sure he will have a bright future, he’s an excellent talent.”
He added: ”I’m not worried about his injuries, he’s our future.”
