FC Heidenheim are reportedly interested in signing free agent Jerome Boateng.
According to Sport Bild, Heidenheim officials have held talks with Boateng’s agent, Tolga Dirican, regarding a possible move.
Boateng, 35, has been training with Bayern Munich in the hope of securing a short-term deal with his former club, but the German champions ultimately decided against it.
The former German international centre-back has been out of contract since leaving Olympique Lyon last summer.
Heidenheim are 13th in the Bundesliga table with 10 points after 10 games.
