After an exciting round of 32 in midweek, the draw for the round of 16 was made this afternoon, where only six Bundesliga teams remain.
There are two all-Bundesliga ties as Borussia Mönchengladbach hosts Wolfsburg and the marquee game of the round sees Borussia Dortmund travel to inform VfB Stuttgart. The remaining Bundesliga teams see Bayer Leverkusen host SC Paderborn, while Eintracht Frankfurt travels to Saarbrücken who famously eliminated Bayern Munich in the 96th minute last Wednesday.
The lowest-ranked team left in the competition, FC 08 Homburg host a 2.Bundesliga team for the second round in a row as St Pauli travels to the Saarland after they knocked out Greuther Fürth in the previous round.
All the remaining ties are all 2.Bundesliga games with the biggest being Hertha Berlin hosting Hamburg. While Nürnberg and Fortuna Düsseldorf travel to Kaiserslautern and Magdeburg.
The round of 16 will be played on the 5th-6th of December.
