Luis Suárez is in talks with Inter Miami over a move to MLS, report Mundo Deportivo.
Negotiations are underway with a view to joining David Beckham’s team for next season, which will kick off in the United States in March.
According to various sources, the Uruguayan striker is already in talks with Inter Miami ahead of potentially linking up with former team-mate and good friend Lionel Messi. The contract would be for one year, with the option of an extension if an agreement is reached.
Suárez was tempted by Miami last summer, but his current club Gremio refused to sell him. In return, they reduced his contract from two to one season, which could facilitate his departure to MLS.
The Brazilian club’s officials, however, have not ruled out trying to convince the former Barcelona striker to stay at Gremio with a new deal.
