Borussia Dortmund will be without one of their key players when they take on Newcastle United in the Champions League tonight.
Announcing their starting line-up for tonight’s clash, the Black and Yellows revealed that Julian Brandt has been left out of the squad.
The reason for this is that Brandt sustained a muscle injury in Friday’s 1-0 win over Werder Bremen, in which he scored the winner.
Marcel Sabitzer has stepped in to replace Julian Brandt in the Dortmund starting line-up.
The Black and Yellows will also be without Julian Ryerson, who didn’t make the trip to Newcastle due to illness. Marius Wolf starts at right-back in his absence.
