Brenden Aaronson admitted to CBS Sports Golazo that the past year of his life has been “tough”.
The 22-year-old went through a difficult season, and was relegated before being loaned out to Union Berlin.
Aaronson discussed how challenging the previous 12 months had been while speaking after the USA’s defeat to Germany. However, he also mentioned maintaining confidence and making an effort to push through.

“It is just about sticking in the game, believing in myself, staying confident. I just want to try and help the team, that’s all I want to do at the end of the day – that’s defending or attacking,” Aaronson told CBS.
