Malick Thiaw has no intention to leave Milan amid interest from Real Madrid & West Ham

Malick Thiaw has been linked with a move away from AC Milan in recent weeks.

The 22-year-old joined the Rossoneri in 2022 from Schalke for a fee around €6 million.

After a slow start to the season, he became a regular fixture in Stefano Piloli’s team, making 24 appearances across all competitions in 2022-23.

And this term, the young defender has already made seven league starts, playing a key role in helping his side to the top the Serie A standings.

His impressive displays have reportedly caught the attention of La Liga giants Real Madrid who want to sign him next summer.

Meanwhile, West Ham United are also keen to bring Thiaw to the Premier League, per a report from Calciomercato.

The Hammers are said to be ready to make a €20 million offer for the 22-year-old.

However, he reportedly is very happy at Milan and has no intention of leaving the club for at least the next two years.

David Moyes’ side won the Europa Conference League last term and so are competing in the Europa League this year.

The Scottish boss wants to bolster their defensive ranks and believe the German to be a perfect fit.

The player has already proven his skills in the Serie A and could be a smart acquisition for the Londoners.

Thiaw has averaged an impressive 1.1 tackles, 0.9 interceptions and 2.7 clearances per game in the Italian top-flight this season.

His passing accuracy is almost 93 percent, which is absolutely incredible (stats from Whoscored).

However, West Ham could find it very hard to convince the centre-back to come to England as he reportedly has no intention of leaving at this point.
