Here is our preview of Wednesday’s international friendly between Mexico and Germany, including predicted lineups.

Germany enjoyed a spirited comeback victory over the United States on Saturday, winning 3-1 in Julian Nagelsmann’s first game in charge.

Nagelsmann and his side will be looking to build on that win – and in particular their second-half performance – when they take on Mexico in a friendly in Philadelphia on Wednesday at 2:00 CET.

Despite being pleased with the performance against the United States, Nagelsmann is expected to make a number of changes, with a number of the players who started on Saturday likely to be rested and replaced by fresh legs.

It’s unclear exactly how much Nagelsmann will rotate, but German magazine Kicker is predicting that he will make up to seven changes to his team.

At the very least, goalkeeper Marc-Andre ter Stegen, defensive boss Antonio Rüdiger and captain Ilkay Gündogan should retain their starting places.
