Manu Koné’s contract with Borussia Mönchengladbach has been extended for another year.
The Bundesliga side have confirmed to the Rheinische Post that they have exercised an option in Koné’s contract to extend it until 2026.
Koné has been linked with top clubs including Bayern Munich and Liverpool.
By extending his contract, Gladbach have put themselves in a better negotiating position for a future sale of the Frenchman.
Koné has made just two appearances for Gladbach this season after working his way back from a long-term injury.
