Juventus midfielder Nicolo Fagioli is already seeking therapy to address his gambling addiction problem.
Fagioli has been investigated and questioned by the Prosecutor and his phone was checked and investigated, which led to other names such as Nicolo Zaniolo and Sandro Tonali also being revealed. It was also reported that Fagioli is suffering from a gambling addiction.
La Gazzetta dello Sport report that Fagioli is already seeking therapy to get rid of the problem and he himself decided to seek therapy. For about a couple of months already, Fagioli has been seeking sessions from an expert and Fagioli has also asked his bank account to be monitored by what seems to be a tutor.
The midfielder has been under the scanner since spring of this year and the authorities managed to know about the player’s dark side some time back. Fagioli also spoke openly about his bets and gambling and he also admitted that he never bet on any Juventus games, but he did bet on other football games involving Serie A sides and Champions League games.
The possibility now is that he could get a ban of only about eight to ten months, which is a major reduction from the initially reported duration of three years. In the next few days, he would be heard by the Prosecutors once again.
