Juventus are keeping a close eye on Borussia Monchengladbach central midfielder Manu Kone heading into the January transfer window.
Tuttojuve reports that the Bianconeri have been keeping their traces on the 22-year-old box-to-box midfielder as the Turin club is keen to bolster the depth within the midfield department of coach Max Allegri’s squad.
The Frenchman has proven to be a vital asset for the Bundesliga giants, as he made an impressive total of 30 league-appearances for his club throughout the 2022/23 term.
As it stands, Manu Kone’s current contract is set to expire in the summer of 2025, whilst the German side also have the option to automatically trigger a one-year extension for the former Toulouse player.
With Borussia Monchengladbach currently valuing the promising midfielder at a lucrative price of €40m, it may be difficult for Juventus to reach the financial demands of the club given the financial situation of the Old Lady.
European giants Bayern Munich also view Manu Kone as a primary objective heading into the winter transfer window, given his experience within the Bundesliga and his immense potential to grow exponentially.
