Gavi scored the winning goal in Oslo on Sunday night to help Spain qualify for Euro 2024.
The midfielder spoke to La 1 post-match.
Victory and qualification
“I’m very happy with the result. We played very well and it paid off,” he said in words reported by AS.
On his goal
“It [the delay] was because of Morata’s offside, I don’t know if it was [offside], but I’m happy with the goal and the win.”
Victories over Scotland and Norway
“We’ve been on a very good run of victories. Norway… we knew it was a tough one, in their stadium, but I’m very happy”.
Gavi makes history
