Enrico Maaßen has been named new Augsburg coach.

FC Augsburg have found a replacement for the recently sacked Enrico Maaßen.
In a statement on Sunday evening, the Bundesliga outfit confirmed Jess Thorup as their new head coach.
The Dane has signed a contract until 2025 with ‘Die Fuggerstädter’.
“We are pleased that in Jess we have managed to sign a top coach and football man for FCA, who has already worked as a head coach at the highest level and has gained a lot of experience on both a national and international,” said Augsburg sporting director Marinko Jurendic.
“Jess has proven at his previous clubs that he can both develop players as well as lead teams to success.”
Jess Thorup has previously been in charge of Danish clubs FC Midtjylland and FC Copenhagen and Belgian clubs Gent and Genk, among others.
