Newcastle United midfielder Sandro Tonali is likely to get a warm welcome at the San Siro when he plays against Milan.
Tonali had joined Newcastle from Milan in the summer in a big money transfer. Tomorrow, Tonali will return to the San Siro to take on his former club.
La Gazzetta dello Sport state that it seems likely that he will feature tomorrow and despite his sudden exit from the club, there seems to be a feeling amongst the Rossoneri ultras that visit San Siro that he didn’t want to depart and it was the club that pushed him towards the exit door.
There is a likelihood that Tonali gets applauded by a vast majority of Milan fans tomorrow and that could be the case when the line-ups are announced before the game too. A mutual respect remains between the two and it is obvious that Tonali will return the warm gesture of the fans.
