Milan have faced an obstacle in completing the signing of Mehdi Taremi from Porto.
According to a report by Luca Bianchin of La Gazzetta dello Sport, time is running short for Milan as they are now working to find a solution with Mehdi Taremi’s entourage regarding his salary and other details.
Negotiations between the Rossoneri and Porto continued till late evening yesterday for the permanent transfer of the Iranian forward. The clubs are said to have agreed on a €15 million plus bonuses deal for the player, following several rounds of extensive discussions.
The Serie A side had agreed on a three-year contract covering €1.5 million plus bonuses per season salary with the 31-year-old and this is where the problem arose because some complications regarding the amount came up. However, both parties are optimistic about securing a resolution but talks must progress fast as they have less than a day to confirm the transfer.
