After links with the player, Premier League side Everton have made an offer for Udinese striker Beto.
The Toffees had come forward for the Portugal forward in January but a move had not materialised, as the bid came in quite late.
Gianluca di Marzio has now reported that Everton have come forward for Beto once again and are offering a fee of €25 million plus bonuses of €5 million for the 25-year-old. While the offer is usually considered to be high for Serie A standards, the Friuli-based side want a higher amount to sell the player.
Beto has been linked with a move to Inter in recent months but that move never materialised. He was also linked with a move to Napoli, who saw him as a replacement for Victor Osimhen but the Nigerian has ended up staying at the Partenopei. A host of other major Italian sides have also been linked with him, which shows how big a coup this could be for Everton.
