There was a lot of hype when Bayern Munich finally unveiled Harry Kane as a new player at the club earlier this month after tough negotiations with Tottenham.
This was reflected in merchandise sales, with Kane breaking the shirt record the day after his move was announced.
According to Kicker, Bayern sold more than 13,000 shirts with Kane’s name on the back the day after the transfer, along with other merchandise from local stores and the online shop.
Bayern have never sold this amount of merchandise in a single day, not even after winning the Champions League final in 2020.
