The agent of Nicolo Zaniolo has today described his client’s move from Galatasaray from Aston Villa as a ‘dream come true.’
Claudio Vigorelli, who is also the agent of wantaway Leeds United attacker Wilfred Gnonto, spoke to Radio Sportiva (via TMW) to give his views on the ex-Roma player’s move to the Premier League.
He stated, “When this opportunity came with Aston Villa, we worked with Galatasaray. It was hard to convince them, but it is the dream of all players to go to the Premier League. This was a great opportunity. I thank Galatasaray and its president for realising Nicolò’s dream for a negotiation that was complicated at first but then we brought home with everyone’s pleasure.”
The move to Aston Villa has signalled the end of Zaniolo’s short spell in Turkey which saw him appear just fifteen times for the club following his January switch from Roma. But the spell has helped the Italian reinvigorate his career, after his falling out with fans at the Giallorossi.
The Italy international could make his debut for his new side away at Hibernian on Wednesday evening in a Europa Conference League qualifier. A host of other Italian sides were also linked with a move for the player and that includes both Milan and Juventus.
