Inter are “in a good position” to sign Benjamin Pavard from Bayern Munich, according to club boss Beppa Marotta.

Inter remain hopeful of completing a deal to sign Benjamin Pavard from Bayern Munich before the transfer window closes.
Sky Germany recently reported that Bayern had decided to keep Pavard beyond the summer, despite the player’s desire to leave.
However, as confirmed by Inter CEO Beppe Marotta, the Serie A side have not given up their pursuit of the Frenchman.
“We won’t announce Benjamin Pavard as new signing today but… we’re in good position,” Marotta said, as quoted by Fabrizio Romano.
“We’re doing our best to sign Pavard, we are ambitious. It’s not an illusion, we feel we can make it happen”.
Pavard’s contract with Bayern expires next summer.
